Work undertaken:
The Malthouse Consultancy project managed the entire project and provided ecological advice on this large 1950's country house. We incorporated modern unique architectural and structural design to extend the property using a highly insulated timber frame onto the existing traditional construction. High performance windows/glazing, ground source heat pump, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, low energy highly controlled lighting and integrated AV systems have all been incorporated into the existing house as well as the new build sections.
