Work undertaken:
The Grove Hotel, Watford is a large golfing hotel with a listed Mansion House at its heart and extensive facilities, swimming pools, spa and the highest quality service.
Different challenges arise with a listed building and we set on improving the energy losses from the single glazed sliding sash windows. We installed a large Solar PV scheme of 8-20MW’s in partnership with an energy provider. Finally we installed simultaneous heating/cooling systems and infrastructure connections to allow higher efficiency.
The highest quality air-conditioned space was required for The Cedar Suite, the latest function room at The Grove. The solution proposed and installed used Invisible.AC. The clients have been super impressed with the system and are looking to install it elsewhere on the estate.
A great advantage of this system is we have extensive experience of using it with high quality highly efficient heat pump systems so resulting in the best solution with the least energy consumed, another perfect combination.
